Ruth and Ian Mapstone welcome you to our self catering apartment ‘Whalebone Mews’.You will find it situated in a courtyard just off the High Street right in the centre of Glastonbury with all the local shops and other amenities on the doorstep.

We have created this flat above my shop ‘Glastonbury Galleries’ over the past two years, and it is now a luxurious property consisting of two bedrooms (one twin room, one double en-suite), and a very spacious open plan dining room, kitchen and a very comfortable living room built on a mezzanine. 

The two bathrooms are modern; the en-suite has a shower cubicle with high pressure shower and the main bathroom has an electric shower over a bath and both have shaver points. 

The kitchen has everything you could need including; dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge and freezer, a ‘range’ style gas hob with electric oven, air extraction hood, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, and of course, all the crockery and utensils too. 

In the living room area there is a colour TV (with satellite), DVD player and hi-fi (CD player and Tuner). One of the sofa’s is a double (4ft) sofa-bed so two additional guests can be accommodated – and it is surprisingly comfy too! 

Other amenities include; an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and radio alarm clock, and of course the whole place has full central heating. All the linen is included (bedding and towels), and will be refreshed if guests are staying for more than one week.
